I first approached Nick with a recovering shoulder injury that was holding me back in my favourite hobby, rock climbing.

I was a little skeptical that I could achieve anything close to a recovery and I was finding myself frustrated and lacking motivation to do my physiotherapy exercises.

A friend of mine, who also sees Nick, highly recommended him, so I gave him a try.

Nick has been patient, kind, and flexible with our workouts. He can quickly offer modifications, or completely change our workout routine if something isn’t working for me. He’s also been flexible with the Covid lockdowns and can work with you remotely over Skype, or outdoors in the park when the weather is nice.

He can bring equipment to you, or work with what you have.

Nick also has a whole body, overall fitness approach with the clear goal to improve your overall health and quality of life.

When I first connected with Nick I was embarrassed about how poor my health and physical fitness had become and I also had some residual issues relating to pregnancy and childbirth. I was not keen on putting myself out there but Nick put me at ease from our first conversation and I gave it a shot. It only took about 5 minutes into our first workout for me to forget my anxieties about being honest with myself (and a stranger) about how much work I had ahead of me. I’ve not once felt judged and I really appreciate Nick’s ability to know when I need to be pushed but also be aware of more difficult days and he always finds a discreet respectful way to encourage me just the same. I walk away from every workout proud and surprised I accomplished what I did. The workouts he puts together are very thoughtful and so, so effective (and challenging in the best way)!
